Families can invite trusted relatives to co-manage trees with role-based access. This SLA explains what each role can do, how invitations work, and how support handles access concerns.
Use the lowest role that fits the person's responsibility. Viewers can review records; editors can contribute; admins can invite others.
Primary family steward
Full access including delete
Trusted co-manager
Edit and invite, no tree deletion
Relative helping preserve records
Edit people, stories, records, and media
Relative, elder, or reviewer
Read-only family tree access
Invitations are email-bound and must be accepted by the invited address.
Owners and admins should review family workspace access regularly.
Admin access should be limited to trusted relatives or recognized community officers.
Support may request proof of account ownership or family authority before changing access.
